Uniti Internet offers two types of Wi-Fi router depending on your connection method is FTTP, VDSL or HFC. Both FTTP & HFC utilise a 'WAN' connection method, wheras VDSL premises will require a 'DSL' connection method. If during sign-up you want to purchase one of our routers, our friendly sales team will guide you towards a compatable router, or if you sign up online, our website will intelligently select the best router for your premise.

When ready to set up your router, refer to the below guide if your premise utlises a WAN connection method (FTTP & HFC)

Or refer to the below guide if your premise utilises a DSL connection method, or if we've recommended our DSL router due to the additional LAN ports or VoIP capability

If your premise has an Authentication Type of IPoE/Dynamic IP, ensuring the Wi-Fi router is cabled in correctly should be the only step nessesary to get online. From here, simply connect your devices to the Wi-Fi network being broadcast from your router using the details printed on the sticker of the router!

If your premise has an Authentication Type of PPPoE, you will need to take one further step to enter your unique Authentication details into the settings of your router. For this, please see our PPPoE Configuration guide for your Router!
